Heat Pump System Gas System Air Conditioning with Electric heat Thermostat
Filters Maintenance Troubleshooting
Your new Heat pump system is an air-conditioning system that also works in reverse to heat your home
or office. During the summer months of the year the heat pump will act as a normal air-conditioning system when
the thermostat system switch is in the cool position. When the thermostat is switched to the heat position it
deactivates the "RVR" or reversing valve. This reverses the flow of freon to the evaporator and condenser
coils. Now the evaporator coil is used to condense the freon to a liquid thus giving up BTUs of heat to the air in your
home of office.
